Senior Lecturer Beverley Bell has published a chapter in "Leadership for Change: Developing transformational student leaders through global learning spaces." Read the e-book here

Over the past ten years the University of the Free State in South Africa has worked with 109 Institutions of Higher Education, over 780 students and 259 staff and faculty and collaborated with their core focus being the development of transformational student leaders through the creation of global learning spaces. Beverley Bell was part of this project from the onset and worked with the various cohorts, both in the US and in South Africa, co-developing orientation, debrief sessions and along with co-authors David Bell and Marianne Sarkis collected longitudinal data to try to capture the change in students regarding race relations, diversity and student live engagement.
