Blumenfeld publishes book on gun violence in U.S.

Warren Blumenfeld, lecturer, published a new monograph analyzing gun violence from a progressive political perspective. Gods, guns, and hypermasculinity: Commentaries on the culture of firearms in the United States (Peter Lang Publishers) examines issues of firearm violence and efforts at reform. Blumenfeld employs a number of critical lenses to understand the nation’s “culture and climate of firearms”, and also addresses political activism, organizing strategies, and options for reform.
