Professor Michael Krezmien, director of the Center for Youth Engagement, is thrilled to partner with the Apple Community Education Initiative to utilize iOS technology to reform juvenile corrections education and demonstrate that tablet technology can individualize the form and function of instruction in ways that maximize, rather than minimize, the potential of incarcerated learners.

The Apple Community Education Initiative directly supports our team of iOS software developers, curriculum experts, juvenile corrections teachers, and incarcerated learners. Through a collaborative co-design process, we will create an immersive iPad-based learning environment that can have a propound impact on learning, performance, and 21st century career readiness with the most marginalized learners in the most restrictive and challenging learning environments.
