Pirie to discuss youth-created media in webinar

Are you an educator interested in youth-created media? Tune into this webinar next Monday, August 7, at 3:00 pm EST to listen to Professor Sally Campbell Pirie talk about her experiences working in the field.

Pirie will speak as part of the Film and Media Round Table's webinar about youth-created media. (FMRT is a unit of the American Library Association). Also speaking is Tim O'Leary, director of the What's the Story? The Young Filmmakers' Social Action Team. Pirie and O'Leary will share insights into youth created media as a form of research methodology and in the classroom. They will conclude the webinar with a Q&A with the audience. Attendees will be provided with practical ideas related to media-making tools, assignments, and practices.
