Assistant Professor Enrique Suárez recently published two chapters in the International Handbook of Physics Education Research, from the American Institute of Physics.

One chapter (Suárez et al., 2023) focuses outlines three levels of “learning in interactions” in the physics education scholarship, in accounts of the dynamics at the scales of the following: (1) individual minds, (2) groups of students and their teachers, and (3) communities, institutions, and societies.

The other one (Jaber et al., 2023) describes recent research in science education, and some recent work in physics education research, that attend to affect in accounts of learning.
