The School of Public Policy (SPP) prepares students to become leaders in public service by solving problems for the common good. The curriculum balances policy research with professional skills development and practical experience.

In the 4+1 Master of Public Affairs program, students gain the knowledge, skills, and practical experience required to become a leader in the nonprofit, public, or private sectors while creating meaningful social change. Students can apply to the program in their junior year and begin their graduate work during their senior undergraduate year.

By starting graduate work as undergraduates, SPP students are able to move quickly and effectively toward pursuing professional goals. As part of the accelerated MPA program, students are required to participate in an internship, providing real-world policy experience for post-graduation careers.
