Welcome! Our dedicated staff is ready to assist undergraduate and graduate Engineering students with a variety of career-related needs.
Located in Marston 112, the Career Development and Experiential Learning Center helps Engineering students with resume and cover letter writing, career fair preparation, and mock interviews. One-on-one counseling at the Center is available by appointment Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
Throughout the year, the Career Center hosts events including:
- professional development workshops and networking events
- corporate information sessions and on-site interviews
- technical talks
- plant tours
- internship, co-op, and career fairs
The Career Center can help you gain experience by connecting you with internships, co-ops, service learning, research, design team projects, student societies, and study abroad opportunities. Student and Alumni Mentoring Program
Do you want to ask an alum in your field for advice? Looking to make industry connections? The Student and Alumni Engineering Mentoring Program helps connect current students with our amazing alumni. Just register, view the available alumni, and select your top choice to participate in the program.
Engineering Career Fair
Every fall, the College of Engineering hosts a career fair specifically for engineering students. The 2023 Engineering Career Fair was the largest in the history of the college, with 1,532 students in attendance and 81 companies represented.
Meet Marie (Civil Engineering Class of 2022)
Marie recently interned with Civil and Environmental Consultants in Raynham, MA. Her advice to other students is to "take the opportunity to talk with coworkers, ask questions, and think critically. You'll learn so much!"
